The Come Up To The Studio has become our brand ambassador. Embodying the fit, feel, repose, and relaxation of L.E.J. It's a formal shirt in a casual body. 

The silhouette is based on a 50s wunderwerk of shirt making. Super elegantly proportioned in the body + sleeve. It is full, and the pattern making ergonomically square. By goodness gracious, this is the way to wear fabric. Tuck it for dramatic drape, or wear it open for a louche couture vibe. Every way there's drama.

Cut in a fine twill weave that we call 50/50; a blend of wool and cotton, half a piece. It begins quite compact, and then develops a beautiful lofty openness as your relationship grows. The wool content means it creases less, staying floaty and lightweight for longer. Warm in -10c and cool at +30c; a contender for my favourite fabric ever (how many times have I said that!).

Behold! Some coal for the fire, your cape of blackened earth. On the other side of brown lives a night-time noir, a black-ish tone which you must have known in a former life. Treat it with love, and it will fade gloriously into something dusty and familiar.
