I love all my children equally. But I love this one so much more! If there's one piece which is useful above all others [some say] it's a crisp white shirt. Okay, so this is a drapey ecru number, BUT IT IS BETTER!

The silhouette is based on a 50s wunderwerk of shirt making. Super elegantly proportioned in the body + sleeve. It is full, and the pattern-making ergonomically square! square. By goodness gracious, this is the way to wear fabric. Tuck it for dramatic drape, or wear it open for a louche couture vibe. I don’t have words!

Cut in a fine twill weave of a cotton / wool blend, it begins quite compact, and then develops a beautiful lofty openness as your relationship grows. The wool content and twill weave means it creases less, and it also means it's floaty and lightweight. Warm in -10c and cool at +30c, contender for favourite fabric ever (how many times have I said that!)
